Organized in 1937, the association has one of the largest outdoor facilities in New York State. DCPA has about 450 members.

From Poughkeepsie:From I-84 take Exit 13 (Route 9 North in Fishkill, NY). Proceed North on Route 9 for six miles. Turn right onto New Hackensack Road (DC #104). Go 2 miles. Turn right onto St. Nicholas Road. Go approximately one mile. DCPA is located on the left.
